Examples of customized cartoons
Below are examples of how various lawyers/firms have used customized cartoon images:
Bankruptcy Seminars: A customized cartoon commissioned by Max Gardner for Max Gardner’s Bankruptcy Bootcamp which he also used in his Maxinars Newsletter. In this case, it actually made sense to work Max into the ongoing story line for the Bankruptcy Man vs. Mortgantua saga.
Law Firm Marketing: Edward Neiger of Neiger LLP handles a lot of preference action work, so we came up with the idea of having Bill and Struck engaged in a video game called Neiger LLP Preference Action 3000 which we posted on the Bankruptcy Bill site and announced through our wide distribution channels, and which is also posted on the Neiger LLP website.
Law Firm Marketing – Holiday Cartoon: We came up with the idea of a Thanksgiving cartoon that could be easily customized for different law firms. In this case, customized meant not just the name of the law firms, but also caricatures of the lawyers. We then shared our idea with a number of law firms, and two–Haines & Krieger in Las Vegas, NV and Allmand & Lee in the Dallas, TX area–were interested. You’ll see that in the first one there are caricatures of two bankruptcy attorneys–George Haines and Dave Krieger–and in the second cartoon of one bankruptcy attorney–Reed Allmand.

Newsletter: The Bankruptcy Section of the Newsletter for the Texas Bar Association requested a Bankruptcy Bill cartoon on a Texas topic for their newsletter. We collaborated with bankruptcy attorney Eric Van Horn (who also writes the Chapter 8 humor column for the ABI Journal) to come up with an appropriate cartoon.
