“Bailout Bill”
NPR’s Planet Money blog has a piece today on “Bailout Bill,” a character created by BailoutBooth.com (a sort of internet pawn shop). Bailoutbooth.com seems to be offering a way for people to sell things for cash by posting their own personal video classified ads on the BailoutBooth site. As a promotion, the company have been offering cash to people to tell their stories of financial woe to the Bailout Bill character. Many of those stories are posted here and definitely worth a read to get a sense of people’s struggles if you’re not already struggling yourself.
Meanwhile, we’ve hired a genetics consultant to try and determine if there is in fact any direct or indirect relationship between Bankruptcy Bill and Bailout Bill.
