Financial Poetry – Heaven-Sent Leaf – by Katy Lederer

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

It appears that Bankruptcy Bill’s haiku is not the only source of poetry drawing inspiration from the state of the economy.

NPR’s Studio 360 has a story this weekend about Katy Lederer, a poet who spent several years working for a hedge fund and now has a book of poetry titled Heaven-Sent Leaf on the topic of modern money-making.  You can learn more about her by following her blog at http://heavensentleaf.blogspot.com/.

Other work by illustrator Gideon Kendall

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

We’re a little delayed getting out the next Bankruptcy Bill strip, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to let everyone know about other illustration work by Gideon Kendall, available on Amazon.com.  Promoting Dinopets and The Caveman’s Pregnancy Companion:  A Survival Guide for Expecting Fathers will also hopefully help Gid avoid becoming more intimate with BAPCPA than necessary.

“From the bloated remains of 2008 unfurls the new year, fragrant with possibilities.”
