Original bankruptcy lawyer cartoon?
Turns out there was at least one bankruptcy lawyer cartoon before Bankruptcy Bill. Can’t tell what year it was published, but given the woman’s outfit, perhaps the 1970s? Just a guess, as fashion is not our field of expertise here.

It is hard to believe that there wasn’t a bankruptcy cartoon before then. This just goes to show how dependent we have become on bankruptcy over the past 35 years. This makes for a very interesting comparison – thanks for sharing this!
